I don’t usually write a lot. I tend to express myself through writing songs, and being quiet otherwise. But I guess this is a good way to let you guys know whats good. First off BIGGGG shouts out to Charlie Like The River. he made this piece of art you see, its my album cover. maybe you like it, maybe you don’t.. but the thing is, at first even my manager Tim didn’t like it. but me and Charlie concepted this together in Vermont one sunday night over a few drinks, and I guess i wanted to explain what it means to me.. 

So much of what I do involving my music and career is dedicated to keeping the integrity of rawness and honestness. from the simple, minimal beats that i make in my room that I dont let anyone fuck with, to the way I’m super particular on vocal mixes not to add any effects… thats the way I like my music, and my life. maybe this artwork looks a little awkward at first glance, the facial expression a little off? well im an awkward person. im certainly, off.. but that picture you see, is me. its not a fabricated, doctored photo. I guess I’ve been doing this for a pretty long time now, since about 15 and for a while I didn’t know what “me” was… Im happy to say the lamp city album is ME. this artwork is ME, and all I want to do is continue to let you guys hear my stories, and progress with me as an artist, cuz we have a long way to go… 

I can’t thank you all enough for the constant support. I think you’re gonna LOVE the album, whether you were a faces fan, a 1993 fan or anything in between I think this album is gonna be perfect for all of you. Leading up to its release it’d be awesome if you all took the time to make this cover your profile pic on twitter..
